Hello! I'm kote2, a freelance web designer and the founder of TAKE ME THERE JAPAN. Having lived in Japan my entire life and worked in the web industry for over a decade, I started this project with a simple, passionate goal: to show you the real Japan, beyond the generic tourist brochures.

Tourists often find spots on Instagram, but struggle with practical info (how to actually get there, what to do, what to expect). This site fills that gap.

A simple card you can show a taxi driver in Japanese to avoid language issues.
Reflecting regular feedback from tourists.
We gather feedback from the international community and incorporate it into the site's UI/UX. This is done on a regular basis.
Detailed spot information
I will try to use my own images as much as possible. However, I prioritize detailed information about the spots.
If this is well-received, I am considering contacting local taxi companies to include actual reviews from veteran taxi drivers and "tips from the field" (their frank and honest local insights) to make this site truly unique. I look forward to your feedback!
